Life in the Spirit Seminars 2025
Join us, every Wednesday at 7:15pm, on this 8 week journey discovering Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. Together, let us explore what it means to be fully alive in Christ. 8 Oct - 26 Nov, with a week off for Mass for All Souls on 29 Oct. In St Edith Stein Room, the upper room of St. Teresa’s Church, Clarendon St. Just off of Grafton St. The recording audio from each talk will be available on this page as the series progresses.
Talk 1: The Father's Love by Mike Dunne
At the Kickoff talk, The Father's Love, by Mike Dunne, you’ll get to know God as a friend and Father. Mike references a scene from the series, The Chosen, linked here.
Talk 2: Salvation Through Jesus by Cormac Buckley
At this second talk by our own Cormac Buckley, we'll be delving into the saving work of Jesus Christ, the very centre of our Christian faith and just what that means for each of us in living our lives to the full.
Talk 3: New Life, New Spirit by Rosemarie Swords
At this third talk, led by Rosemary Swords, we'll be delving into God's presence in our lives, what it means to have God dwelling within us, at the very centre of our lives and all of our decisions.
Talk 4: Breaking the Barrier's/Receiving God's Love by Fr Columba Jordan
At this fourth talk by Fr Columba Jordan, you'll be offered to receive Reconciliation. This will be a night of healing, reconciliation and removing the barriers that stop us from fully experiencing the presence of God in our lives.
Talk 5: Baptism in the Spirit by Donnacha McKenna
At this fifth talk by Donncha McKenna, we'll change things up. In many ways, this is one of the highlights of the Life in the Spirit Seminars journey as we commit our lives to the Lord, receive prayer for the Holy Spirit to be at the centre of our lives, and to receive His gifts.
